A few years ago, the University of Cambridge ESOL  launched a new and revolutionary examination called Teaching Knowledge Test, (TKT), which deals with  the theory and practice of English language teaching.

 

The test provides teachers with a strong foundation in the core areas of teaching knowledge needed in the English language teaching classroom, increasing their confidence, improving their teaching and providing access to higher-level teaching awards, such as Cambridge ESOL’s ICELT (In-service Certificate in English Language Teaching), CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults)

It can be regarded as a Pre and In-service Course . Meant for students of English at International levels  who wish to introduce themselves in the teaching field as well as experienced and non experienced teachers in need of an international qualification.

 

•    Lessons are given by 3 tutors using material specially prepared for this course

 

•     Frequency: Two 1 hour and a half sessions weekly
